| Race Synopsis: Two-year-old Australian-bred filly Untamed Diamond,followed her promising debut second in a 2YO Maiden (1100m) at Ellerslie on 14 December to score impressively here, albeit in a smallfield of five. She drove through to retain the lead, being pressured by the filly Okagabare, and they ran along at a brisk pace. Untamed Diamond got the better of her rival at the 200m and she went on to win impressively by two lengths in fast time (56.84) with Okagabare holding on well for second. | |
