I recently read on-line the G1 Dubai Duty Free at Meydan in late March could potentially be an early 2014 season target for Dank. If she goes to Meydan and runs as well in Dubai as she did in Ireland in the G2 Kilboy Estate Stakes and America in the G1 Beverly D. Stakes & G1 BC F&M Turf, she'll give the boys in that field all they want and then some, IMO.

Dank is one tough, aggressive filly. I hope she comes back next year to defend her title.

I agree. The Euro's had a monster Breeders Cup this year. They sent over horses to run in 7 different races and they won 5 of them, I.E., London Bridge-BC Marathon, Dank-BC F&M Turf, Outstrip-BC Juvenile Turf, Chriselliam-BC Juvenile Fillies Turf, & Magician-BC Turf. Plus, they had Giovanni Boldini, Romantica, & The Fugue finish 2nd in their respective races and Declaration of War finish 3rd in the BC Classic. The only race they sent horses for they didn't win or finish in the $ was the BC Mile.

Ryan Moore did a fantastic job of getting Dank home in 1st after she'd been so keen and pulled so hard early on. More often than not pulling hard early in the race leaves a horse lacking through the stretch run. He got her to settle at just right time in the race and it obviously left her just enough to hold off Romantica, because Maxime Guyon was taking dead aim at Dank in the final 100 meters. 2 high class European fillies and 1 high class former European based filly filling the top 3 spots.

The ground made the difference to Dank, the rest is BS.

One of the best horses James Wigan has bought. Dank has improved with age happy for the team.

This filly is pure class, and as the season has progressed Dank has continued to get progressively better and better. She's looked a million bucks all week long training over the turf course at Santa Anita, and she definitely saved her 2 biggest efforts of the season for 2 of America's top G1 races for fillies & mares. Outstanding effort by the French filly, Romantica, finishing a very game 2nd in this race, also.
