Ron the Greek picked a perfect time to snap out of a lengthy slump when he demolished the field in the $1 million Jockey Club Gold Cup (gr. I) in a 21-1 upset Sept. 28 at Belmont Park.
Im surprised but also not so surprised by Ron The Greek. That horse can win huge races at times... But all of 2013 it looked like he lost his step.. Guess not. I had FlatOut/PalaceMalice
Down the stretch, it appeared to me that Orb was interfered by that gray horse. Did anyone else see that? Not that he had a chance to win, but it looked like the gray drifted into Orb.
