    .Interesting, I always though they barred Buckpasser from the wagering pool. Thanks for the update.

    That's not correct. They allowed ONLY win betting in this race because of a fear of a minus pool developing with bridge jumpers flooding the place and show pools for Buckpasser.

    Amazingly this is the largest field in US stakes history where betting on the winner was cancelled. Buckpasser was considered so formidable that track management envisaged the track being awash with minus pools if wagering was allowed. Imagine the uproar if Buckpasser went down !
