"Racing's Bad Boy" is not a fair or accurate designation for the two year old champ. The way Always Dreaming has acted up and requires extreme equipment and training methods shows he is no angel. Classic Empire's refusal to train shows his intelligence because he knew that he was still in pain from his abscess and/or his wrenched back. Classic Empire, despite all his problems and running on the worst part of the Derby track and Always Dreaming having had NO problems and running on the best part of the track, only finished about eight lengths back when it should have been more.
