Who else has noticed that in the Kentucky Derby at 1:13, Sham stumbles and his jockey almost falls off?! I also think it's funny how in the movie the jockey's never use their sticks... not even the derby! I mean I know it's a movie and it's staged, but it still bothers me...
What is the foal's name? I wonder if she's the one in the pedigree of a horse I know, he's a great great great grandson of Secretariat. Secretariat's baby in his pedigree is named Secrettame
Oh also something I was just reminded of... I've been taking pictures of this person working with a client and her horse... I looked up the horse's pedigree, and found out he is actually a great great grandson of Secretariat!!! Now, I love this horse because he is super smart and has a lot of personality, and also because he has Bend Or spots, but finding that he's a descendant of Secretariat was just like..... WOOOOWWW!!!!! :D

if you lost a few of the 4 greats in the grandad part it would be more believeable. except that the over 600 foals, there are a few still living. his grands... there are two of the right now here in the meadows where secretariat was born. Covert Action and Rainaway.

I intended on keeping the audio since it would create a certain atmosphere which seemed to have worked. You're lucky to have a horse related to Man O War, one of the greatest :)

Its a crop and Secretariat never needed one. I KNOW Sham was smacked a few times to go faster, but I never saw it or paid attention.
