| Race Synopsis: Taiyoo took his record to seven wins from this last eight starts with another good effort to win here, his first start in South Australia. He began well and enjoyed a good trip in fourth place before moving up outside the leader (Waltzing To Win) at the 1200m. He went to the front on straightening, and after quite a battle, got the upper hand and drew clear to win by a long neck, running the 2500m out strongly. Second favourite Lucky Lucky Lucky raced back in eighth place, moved up well from the 600m and challenged strongly rounding the home turn. He then fought hard, just wilting slightly over the last 50m for second. | |
