Yes. My very favorite thing. The "moment" when_____(any horse) decides, kicks the extra gear in when the others haven't a gear left...THAT is what separates the Champions from the other good or great horses

Love how you can see the exact moment UR made up his mind to go through the non-opening on the rail. Watch it again if you didn't see it -- Johnny V is asking, UR is considering, Between 2:24 and 2:25 on this video, UR flicks his tail and decides to go for it. Awesome ride from Johnny V, and awesome demonstration of how it takes two to win a horserace.

Hats off to Paynter, he had a great run! Congrats to Union Rags, I thought he was going to be boxed in at the top of the stretch but wiggled his way to the front! I love that horse, favorite Belmont in my lifetime since Rags to Riches in 07. Same jockey ironically...

Rags just needed a sliver of luck to let her rip! When Mikey slowed the pace so much I thought Rags was trapped again but he showed real grit going through that hole with Mikes whip right in his face!

he didnt exactly go all out. Yes, he lead, but it was an easy lead and he got away with slow fractions. Nevertheless, fantastic run from both horses :)

Exactly. I thought Union Rags was a certainty to be quite honest. I thought the number 4 horse ran a blinder. I wll be backing this one in future. :)

Omg we were there and when I was right along the gate with my friend near the Finish line and he was way behind after being towards the beginning and I knew something was wrong because he was running to the side and the a couple of yards ahead of us he just went down and I don't think I have ever been that scared in my life because he was down and his jockey was catapulted into the air but they both got up and Giant Ryan got brought out and he looked okay for a horse that just took that bad of

John Asher, from Churchill Downs was just on my local news. Said Union Rags, with today's time, would of been 30 lengths behind Secretariat at the wire in the 1973 Belmont. WOW...just wow!

Mike Smith has certainly loved riding front riders during this year's triple crown, he almost got it again out in front.

Was nice to see Union Rags finally get some luck in running and was able to a run along the rail, looked several times like the run wasn't going to come for him.

hellavuh a run by Paynter. kudos to Union, always thought he could have won the triple crown. too bad he didn't have a chemistry with his past riders.

Im suprised that Union Rags won, I was expecting that after I'll Have Another was scratched, Paynter would win it but then I saw he went all out from the start and was like "Nope"

Union Rags & Gemologist 1,2 in the Travers Stakes?

Congrats to Union Rags for trying to salvage a lost triple crown. If I'll Have Another wasn't scratched, it'd been a very exciting run win or lose. However, i'm not upset. IHA's owners decided it was best for his health. May he be the best stud horse ever.
